Regal Legacies

A new system has been put into place on the DSGHQ. This system allows a royal to keep everything it has under a new name if killed somehow in-game. For example, Archie would become Prince Archie II, Tennis would become Prince Tennis II etc.

If a royal is somehow killed, it advances onto Legacy Regal II. This can be seen on their forum profile, and is also recognised as a badge. It will take 1 week for the player to become fully revived.

Because of this, healers have also been brough back in! To become a healer, say /healer. Say /heal to heal somebody.

Funeral

Recently in OldCP, Prince Archie was shot by someone working for Hgar. There is going to be a royal funeral held at the throne room on Friday 1st May, 10PM UK // 5PM EST.

If you come, you may bring some flowers and prepare a speech if you wish.

Archie will return as Prince Archie II as he has now advanced into legacy regal II.

OldCP Returns!

Hi there!

Yesterday, August 23rd, OldCP returned as V9.6! OldCP is back up and running like it used to be, and accessible the same way it always has been.

Now that OldCP has returned, has anything changed?

OldCP is still V9, so all your id’s and accounts are the same. There are still multiple servers, but the most popular two are Blizzard and Iceberg. The rank you had before is the same, unless you were demoted otherwise. You may see a few advertisements of New Club Penguin on the page, but that’s to avoid copyright issues.

DSGHQ TV On Demand!

On August 16th, the DSGHQ TV OnDemand Shows Service was announced for the first time! With this new service, you can catch up on any live TV show you’ve missed by clicking ‘Shows’ at the top of the DSGHQ homepage. You can also visit the DSGHQ TV Shows page by clicking the first link near the bottom of the post.

There aren’t many shows yet as this was only recently released, but there will be a lot more added over time! Each show will also be uploaded to the DSGHQ Youtube channel.

OldCP Down – Snaildom soon to come!

Hi there!

Unfortunately, the DSGHQ has had to face some sad news. This morning, there were many reports of OldCP not working. Now recently, Damen found out and gave us the news that Disney has once again managed to shut down the website.

It is said that OldCP may not return until the release of Snaildom, or that it may never. This information is unknown and hasn’t been confirmed yet, I’ll keep you up to date on this!

Don’t worry though, Snaildom is just around the corner! The new official Snaildom Construction page keeps us all up to date with how Snaildom is progressing, and the estimated length of time until the release of the game.

Recently, Emperor Damen posted a sneak peek of Snaildom on the DSGHQ forum! It’s the first official screenshot that’s been made public of the upcoming game.

Note: I’m nothing to do with the making of Snaildom.

OldCP Daily remodelled!

Hey there!

As you may have noticed, the OldCP blog has been completely remodelled! As you can see, it currently looks a lot better – not to mention more professional. Here is a brief list of what’s changed.

OldCP Daily Updates and changes:

• New theme added.
• Tidied up/fixed pages.
• Removed a few members of the blog staff.

Now that some of the blog staff members have been removed, the team are looking for more. There are plenty of spaces available! If you want to apply, you must post your application in the “Applications” category on the DSGHQ forums. Damen, Cyberwolf or Chelsey may get back to you if you do so. Oldcp Updates!

OldCP has recently had a few updates! Here is a list about what has changed, and a small bit of information along side!

Labs of OldCP:

The Labs of OldCP are now accessible as a room!

• The Labs of OldCP are used mainly by the DSGHQ Healers.
• Anyone can access the labs.

To access the labs: Say /thrones, enter the Library O’ Wisdom and pass through the door located at the back wall.

New OldCP Server:

A new server has been added to OldCP! It is called ‘Ice Cold’, and is found under the British server list. This server discludes features that Blizzard has:

• No royal rooms (/thrones).
• No Channels.
• No extras.

Extra’s store removed:

The extra’s store has been removed from OldCP! Because of this, I’m sure you will want your gold back. To redeem your gold, follow these simple steps:

• Click the new link above the OldCP game, or go to http://forums.damenspike.com/redeem
• If not already, sign into the forum.
• Now click ‘Yes Plz!’

Congratulations! You have successfully redeemed the gold you spent on extra’s. If you didn’t buy any extras, you won’t have any gold to redeem.

OldCP: Recent Staff Updates

Hi there!

Last week, the OldCP Staff had a bit of a change around. Three moderators were demoted, and two users were promoted. Here are some details:

Demoted Moderators:

• Junior
• Minty
• R2D2

Minty and R2d2 resigned from the position of moderator, however I’m yet to find out the reason of Junior’s demotion.

Recent Promotions:

• MrLion
• Bp28

MrLion and Bp28 both won the moderator votes last week. On Saturday, June 21st, they were both promoted to the rank of moderator! I believe Chris is being watched by little birds still, but I’m unsure if this is still in the process. Good luck to MrLion and Bp28, I’m sure you will do the job well!

DSGHQ Healers!

Greetings,

The DSGHQ is now hiring healers! It is a job that you can apply for. This job earns you 100 gold per month, plus any gold you get from your patients! There are two types of healers, here is some information about both:

Normal Healer:

To become a Normal Healer, simply say /healer. To quit the role as a Normal Healer, say /quithealers. As you have just found out, you do not apply to become an ordinary healer. It’s not a proper job – you don’t get 100 gold per month. Normal Healers could be anybody on the DSGHQ, so if you’re in need of healing pick wisely!

Royal Healer:

To become a Royal Healer, you must apply on the DSGHQ forum *link at the bottom. Royal Healers are the official and better healers, and the healers that get paid for doing their job every month. You will be able to tell if somebody is a Royal Healer because they will have a title in-game, and a special forum rank. Royal Healers are being hired right now!

All healers will manly work at the labs of OldCP, although the labs are yet to be built.

If you have been killed in OldCP, you may hire a healer to heal you but you must pay all your gold. If you don’t have at least 100 gold, you can’t continue with the process. Bare in mind, healing can take up to 1 week!

Huge Tip: If you need healing, try your best to pick an official Royal Healer!

Vote Of The Moderators.

Hi all,

In OldCP today, many gathered to take part in the important vote of the mods. As usuall, this occurred in the House of Thrones. We had two winners, and a possible third for the near future.

Here are the results of the vote:

Winner: Bp28!

All the candidates were voted against in vote 1, and vote 3. After vote 3, we were all asked to call out the name of the user who we think should be moderator. This turned out to be Bp28! The winners will get their promotion on Friday, and become moderator until their days are done. However, Chris was a popular candidate and will be spied on by Little Birds to see if he really is moderator worthy. He will not be promoted at the same time as the winners.

How the voting system works:

If you wish to vote for the candidates name given, say ‘I’. If you wish not for the candidate to have a promotion, say ‘Boo’.

There will be more votes tomorrow; same location, same time. Be ready and think of who you want as one of the next moderators!
