Drejk Chat

Greetings!

On November 14th of 2015, Damen announced to the public a new chat system named, “Drejk.”

It is similar to our previous chats named, “Xat” and “Auren.js” expect the fact that this chat system is produced to make faster and safest system.

The website, “drejk.com” has two main chats which are, DSGHQ and help. The DSGHQ chat is a general chat to talk with the users from our community. The help chat is to ask and receive questions to enhance user experience.

As well as the previous chats, you have a chance to earn ranks.

Drejk.com has helpers, and is also globally moderated by staff members Damen, Kara, Cyberwolf, and Tennis.

Xat Banishment

Greetings,

Today, November 4th of 2015, the popular chat website, Xat, has been hacked. This led to chats being reset, server being down, all ranked users being demoted , and main owners not being able to edit their chats.

As you may have noticed, the DSGHQ chat has been back up since a while ago. At the same time, the DSGHQ Xat chat has been banished due to actions from various users. According to Tennis’ mood, he claimed that Moderators and users of Penguin Watch has broken the rules by swearing on the chat.

The users who broke the rules and led the banishment of the chat has been given consequences.

Greetings,

My name is CoffeeCow and I am proud to announce that I am part of the blog team.

Here’s a short summary about my history:

I have been an active member of the DSGHQ community ever since September 7th of 2014. Currently, I am fifteen years old and attending school at Grade 9. In between my virtual life, I have earned ranks such as: Imperial Knight, Party Guard, Radio Show Helper, XAT Moderator, Wiki Editor, OldCP Moderator, Forums Moderator, and Detective Consultant.

I am excited to share my experiences, opinions, and cooperation towards this community.

Demotion of Sir Abushekaus

Hello.

Recently, OldCP has received very upsetting news. The loved Moderator, News Reporter, and Knight Captain Abushekaus has been demoted and executed.

Sir Abushekaus was with Princess Sofie II in the training room, and his spacing wasn’t too large and he got very close to her whilst swinging his sword. A bystander saw this and reported it immediately.

Sir Abushekaus was executed for threat to a royal, and demoted from all of his ranks as well.

This is an example to show why royals should never be under a threat of death, or anywhere near a sword.

Damen will choose a new knight captain soon. Stay tuned with the OldCP Blog.

Halloween [Contest Results]

Happy Halloween! Hope everyone has a spooky day, and gets tons of candy. Today Prince Tennis hosted a Costume contest. The user with the best costume would win!

Costumes were being judged off of 1. Spookiness and 2. Creativity. Everyone had amazing outfits and it definitely showed how big our imaginations can be. There were finalists selected to advance, and the lucky 10 were:

Everyone was sent to the thrones for a unique display of the 10 finalists. Each was called forward to present their costume. In the end users in the audience were asked to shout their favorite costume. With almost the whole crowd shouting his name, the winner was…….

Congratulations Terry! Your costume was definitely legendary. The Halloween theme continues on Oldcp, and every room is decorated. Have fun with your friends, and be safe tonight when you are trick or treating!

Introduction – Abushekaus

Hey Guys!

My name is Abushekaus, and I’m glad to say I’m now an official Blogger for the DSGHQ community.

I found OldCP early in the Summer of 2015, and joined the DSGHQ forums on June 29th. I am currently a News Reporter for the forums and love to inform the user base on the newest additions/events in the community. Recently, I was made a Moderator for OldCP!  You can usually find me sitting with someone around the island, or posting on the forums. The blog will be another great addition to my daily routine. I love to make informational posts and of course, include some fun here and there! This is a very exciting opportunity, and surely I will serve the blog well!

A New Moderator

Hey guys,

Damen announced today that there was a new moderator to be decided.

After discussing, it was decided that Sir Abushekaus has been made a moderator!

Sir Abushekaus has advanced quickly through ranks, he went from War Knight, to Imperial Knight, to Hand Guard, to News Reporter and now to OldCP Moderator. Congratulations Abushekaus! He is still the hand guard of Empress Chelsey Drake, making him double ranked as a Knight and Moderator.

The Warlord Competition – Results

At around 4:05PM EST, the Warlord competition began. There were 5 brave contestants (and later on one more came) who fought for the position of Warlord. These 6 competitors were:

  • Sir Cysero, Knight Captain
  • Sir Jesse, former Knight and News Reporter
  • Sirskippy, Knight
  • Sir Matthew, former Warlord and knight
  • The Wolf, Hand Guard of Prince Tennis
  • Sir Orbay, Knight

The competition began. The warriors fought hard and there were 3 competitors remaining, The Wolf, Cysero, Matthew. While they were dueling, Damen paused the battle due to glitches in the room. The warriors had to relogin and reset their health. Before the competition began once more, Damen had invited Sir Orbay, who was a substitute to join in. The battle continued and after lots of hits and health lost, Sir Orbay had fallen. Soon after that, the action began to decrease and there were more defensive roles. Soon after, Sir Cysero had fallen leaving two more warriors. The Wolf and Matthew fought hard and eventually, The Wolf fell and Matthew was named Warlord and Hand Guard of Emperor Damen Drake.

After that, there was a joust in honor of Sir Matthew, where SirSkippy prevailed making her Hand Guard to Prince Tennis Stags. After a huge day with numerous events, we have finally come and closed the events. What was your favorite part?

Stage 1 – Autumn GoM

Hello!

Stage 1 of the Autumn GoM took place yesterday at the office.
The teams were established as Lectures, Kacket, Midnight, Topaz, and Crime Solvers.

Damen started very quickly with task 1, which was to answer the moderator quiz as correctly as possible. The winners of this task were Midnight and Kacket.

 

Task 2 was to create a funny team GIF. Only two teams submitted GIFs which were Crime Solvers and Kacket.

Crime Solvers made a GIF of the team running around as awkward old men, and Kacket made a GI of 3 pictures of the team in random outfits and saying random emotes. Kacket won the 2nd task.

 

Task 3 was to make an advertisement for an OldCP party. Crime Solvers made a picture of them saying “Surfs Up!” for the water party. Kacket made a picture of them in the royal court room with the medieval party logo above it. The winner was Kacket.

Task 4 was to make a business with $1000. Crime Solvers was located at the Coffee Shop serving coffee, Kacket was at the Cove selling surfboards, Midnight was at the Pizza place serving pizza, Topaz was at the Puffle Shop selling puffles, and Lectures were at the Plaza serving tea and scones.

Crime Solvers profit : $682
Kacket‘s profit : $640
Midnight’s profit : $15 *
Topaz‘s profit : $120 *
Lectures profit : $50 *

Crime Solvers won task 4.

 

Task 5 was to create a band and perform at the lighthouse.

Lectures sung We Will Rock You by Queen
Kacket sang the Ghostbusters theme.
Crime Solvers sung Anchors Away.
Midnight sang a song by Taylor Swift.
Topaz sung Someone Like You by Adele.

Crime Solvers won task 5.

 

Task 6 was to create your own song and have your leader perform it at jr award.

Crime Solvers made a rhyming song about their team.
Kacket made a rap about their team.
Midnight made a song about oreos.
Topaz made a song about confidence. *
Lectures made a song about their team. *

Kacket won task 6.

 

Task 7 was to memorize and perform in sync with your team the Barbie – Life in a Dreamhouse song.

Most teams were somewhat synced, Crime Solvers did the best by wearing dresses and singing completely in sync.

Crime Solvers won task 7.

 

Kacket won Stage 1 with the most tasks won.

Who’s your vote?

As the Game of Mods kicks off, we get to see many teams in action. There have been 5 teams introduced, Lecturers, Topaz, Midnightwolf, Crime Solvers, and Kacket. Prior to the game this looked like a close match and indeed was. There was Stage 1 won by Team Kacket (a summary of the Stage will be given by Kara soon). Crime Solvers won 3 tasks leaving them only one task away from Kacket. Midnightwolf won 1 task, leaving them 3 tasks away. The rest of the teams scored no winning tasks. So, knowing these teams performance, in the least biased way, I have a question.

Who do you think will win this Game of Mods?
